## 6. Timeline

## 7. Plant Warranty

**1-year plant warranty** applies to:

**Excluded from plant warranty:**
- Damage from improper customer maintenance (over/under watering)
- Weather extremes (hard freezes, drought, hail)
- Animal damage (deer, rabbit, vole)
- Construction damage by other trades

**Workmanship warranty:** 1 year on installation work
**Hardscape warranty:** 5 years on paver/wall installation (settlement caused by improper base prep)

## 8. Customer Responsibilities

After installation, customer agrees to:
- Water new plants per provided schedule (we'll calibrate irrigation, but customer monitors)
- Avoid herbicide application near new plantings for 90 days
- Reapply mulch annually
- Not allow construction traffic on lawn for 30 days

## 9. Payment Schedule

- 30% deposit on signed contract (covers design + materials ordering)
- 40% at start of installation
- 30% on substantial completion

**Accepted payment:** Check, ACH, credit card (+3% surcharge)
